Inquire Sexual Complaint Against CJI, Afresh

LAWYERS have expressed displeasure to the conduct of a sexual harassment complaint against the CJI by an ex-staffer. Justice has not been imparted and the procedure adopted was faulty. The manner in which ad-hoc committee of three judges of the Supreme Court has conducted the inquiry in respect of allegations of sexual harassment against the CJI, speaks about the hush up done to the particular case. It is trite, that ‘justice should not only be done, but also seems to be done’. Integrity of the whole judiciary was at stake.

THE All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) has asked the central government to intervene immediately to protect the potato farmers in Gujarat. The Kisan Sabha has called upon the people to boycott consumption of Lays chips manufactured by PepsiCo Company. The AIKS has stated that it will step up its efforts and initiative to ensure that the cases registered by the PepsiCo company against the kisans are withdrawn immediately.The PepsiCo has registered cases in Ahmedabad court against nine small farmers of Gujarat state, demanding a sum of Rs 1.05 crore from them.

Reject Sanctions on Iran Oil
