India in Deathly Grip of Covid-19 as Modi Government Continues its Andher Nagari Policies

THE Covid-19 pandemic that has India in its deathly grip, is nowhere near its end. India is now registering numbers that have broken all “records”. Currently more than half of all new cases per day in the world are from India! While the number of daily new cases have started to show a slow decline, it is accompanied by a drop in the number of tests conducted. The drop in new cases may therefore be due to fewer tests rather than a real drop in new cases. Are we running out of test kits and testing personnel for conducting tests?

Everybody wants to lie in the bed with super warm blankets wrapped around them.

Refusal

IN spite of the best of efforts, the pen is refusing to write in these excruciating times, about the excruciating times. It is very obdurate. Even now it took a lot of pleading, cajoling, convincing, threatening and at long last, only the act of hanging it up altogether, made it accede.Of course it has its point of view, justified. It demanded only an answer to its one question. The question it put was very simple – what’s the use of all its efforts? Name and fame were never under consideration, thus not even considered as an answer to this simple question.
